Do your thing! How to boost yourself

Do your thing without thinking about others’ opinions, without comparing yourself.

Do your thing in alignment with who you truly are.

Do your thing!

I am here to remind you don’t have to worry about the “likes” or the rejection.

How to boost yourself

1. Remember that you are unique

Psalm 139:13-14 says: “For you created my inmost being;

    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    your works are wonderful,

    I know that full well.”

You are a beautiful and wonderful person with a gift to share with others. So, it’s time to stop thinking about how well people will welcome your idea or your project. Because if you take too much time to think about doing something, you might never do it.

It is time to take action.

2. Stop comparing yourself

We are all different, so why would we compare ourselves to others? It can only lead to frustration. Imagine an apple comparing herself to an orange. How would she feel if she wished to be orange, or to have the same “skin”? She would feel depressed! However, they both have incredible vitamins. Just like those different fruits have different benefits, we each have something unique to bring to the world.

3. Take action

I encourage you to pick one action every morning and commit to doing it. Nothing complicated, it could be to wake up without snoozing your alarm clock, organize your desk or contact a pre-determined number of clients. The objective is for you to complete this action. It will give you a sense of accomplishment and help you move forward.
